根尾は周平の厳しい注文にこたえるはず
昨日ラジオで紹介されていたが、これは根尾が一緒に自主トレして頑張りましたが？という質問に対しての周平のコメント。
言いたかったのはここからが勝負で頑張ってレギュラーを勝ち取ってほしい、という部分だろう。
福留との勝負で根尾が使ってもらってるとか厳しい注文とかそういうニュアンスはラジオでは感じず、自分も同じ道を通ってきてレギュラーになったから根尾も頑張れという激励の言葉だと感じた。
周平がTV番組で、石川と根尾に言っていた言葉「ドラ1は試合に使われる。特別扱いだ。試合に出られない先輩から嫌な目で見られる。その視線を消すには結果を出すしかない。高い契約金もらって入団した。絶対に活躍しないといけないんだ。」
真意は上のとおりだけど。
それにプラスして、根尾も重々承知の話をあえて記者に言うことで、根尾がチーム内で浮かないように、また、出場できない根尾の先輩たちへの配慮も込めていると思う。
ものすごく特別扱いされていることを根尾本人は自覚しているだろう。そして同じ立場だった周平も自覚している。
でも意外とファンは分かってなくて実力で出ていると思ってしまう。今はいいけど、シーズンが始まって結果が出なかった時にようやくファンが特別扱いに気がついて叩き始める。
そうならないために敢えてメディアで話して根尾を守り、試合に出られない他の選手のフォローにもしている。
最高のキャプテンだと思います。
ほんと周平はキャプテンになってから発言が変わった。
「地位は人を作る」の典型だよ。
ヒーローインタビューも、昔はヒヤヒヤしながら聞いてたけど、今は言葉を選びながらも頑張ってファンに声を届けたいというのが伝わってくる。
今年も攻守はもちろん、精神的にもチームを引っ張っていって欲しいですね。
キャプテンらしい発言が素晴らしい。凄く頼もしく成長してきましたよね。高卒で鳴り物入りで入団して周りからの期待やらプロの世界の厳しさを身をもって体験してきた高橋選手だからこその発言だと思います。彼が言うとおり、あとは根尾選手が実力で勝ち取るしかありませんね。頑張れドラゴンズ！
周りの期待に対してなかなか芽が出なかった感じがした選手だけど、気づけばすっかり中日を代表する選手ですね。
悩ましい時代があったからこそ、厳しい発言も好感が持てるのかも。
パ・リーグファンですが、侍のサードは高橋が望ましいと思ってます。
周平もいい選手になった！
根尾や他の選手だけじゃなく、自分にも厳しい言葉。ファンもついて行くよ！竜の未来は明るい！
同じ高卒ドラフト1位指名で期待されチャンスを貰いそしてやっと自分で掴んだレギュラーの座！
根尾には周平だからこそ言える言葉だと思う。
それにしてもこんな話ができるようになるなんて周平も大人になったね！

インタビューを受けても二言三言ボソボソと答えていた入団２，３年目頃とは明らかに違って来た。
根尾に対し敢えて厳しい言葉を掛けるのも育って欲しい、育てたいの心意気だろう。
周平がチームを引っ張れれば、中日ファンの夢が叶うかも！

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell
